Now in its 15th year, the Canterbury Riding Club was formed as a venue for adult riders in the Canterbury region, to meet other riders and to further the education of its members in all forms of equitation and horsemanship.
Run by an annually elected committee, the club holds monthly ridden rallies with a variety of instructors. Group lessons are encouraged, with the beneficial aspect of working with other horses, sharing the cost of instruction, and the opportunity to meet other members.
Four annual shows are held each year, as well as a variety of non-ridden educational and social events.
